But anyways, so there is this guy with a 95 civic that's talking **** to me about my car.
I drive a 2003 Mach 1 5 speed, he's talking **** and calling it slow.
So I ask him what he has done to his car, he says he has a 2.2 Prude type s motor in a 95 civic coupe. With ported and polished heads and intake, cams, titanium rockers , some kind of fuel pump and its N/A 5speed aswell. He claims he walked all over a newer mustang gt.

Now I feel like a bitch for getting a second opinion, but do you guys think I will have a hard time with this guy.
He says he pushing 240 hp to the front wheels.

Only thing I got is a JLT RAI.
In a few weeks Im purchasing 4:10 or 4:30, can't decide, and a sct tuner.

He may of beat a v6 mustang before, but if a gt was actually trying to race him they would walk all over him.

The new gt's have like 380rwhp with minor mods.

You should smoke him aslong as you can drive and launch good

Get those gears in there before ya do race him just to be sure. And most I say most folks with a Honda think their cars are like Lambo type fast. It's like they just think those four bangers are the greatest things in the world! And I said most because well there are some mustang owners out there like that too and some Hondas spec a newer si built up right can be quick as all!

You have a Mach. Not the fastest car in the world but its a somewhat rare car. Only made so many of then in the 70s and then 03-04. I love my Mach and with new and wider nittos that I just put on less than a month, they are so sticky right now I'm confident in taking most anything from a dig!

I know this is blasphemy here and it pains me to say but if he has 240 WHP in a 2200lb car than he has a power to weight ratio of 9.1 pounds per 1 HP. With your estimated 260 WHP (assuming a 15% drive line loss) in your 3460 pound car you have 13.3 pounds per 1 HP.

You're gonna get smoked bub, don't underestimate hondas. I'm a Ford guy all day but I like anything that goes fast and I have seen some FAST 4 bangers.

Yeah there's no way he's making 240 to the wheels with those mods without FI, not even close. I knew someone with a supercharged lude and a few supporting boltons and he only did about 250 to the wheels on his best day.

Walked a newer GT? That sounds like a stretch, considering S2000s have about that much power with similar weight and they are low 14 second cars. Maybe that slightly lower weight was the difference, but I doubt he would be anywhere close to walking a newer GT regardless.

Honda people are shady as ****, hes not telling you something. Either way, race him and find out what happens. Just dont talk smack, so if you lose you dont look like a zilch

Well when I said I was down to race him he was all for it, so today he texted me and told me he couldn't race cause got pulled over.
Typical. Oh well
