Exclamation Need some help with suspension setup

Hi Everyone!

I have a 2000 Mustang GT Convertible that needs new ball joints and tie rods so I was thinking to put lowering springs on too. My Mustang is all stock besides the 18x9 Saleen wheels. I really want to start to convert it to a Saleen clone because I can't find any in my area.

What do you guys suggest on what I should get for my suspension?

Seems like your replacing alot up front. Why not go for coil overs? It will give you better performance and improve the geometry of our outdated fox body design.

OP,

Looks like a very solid setup to me. Were you planning on adding a rear suspension components, like LCA's, UCA's, sway bar, etc. I'm assuming this is suppose to be a road course car?

Hi califas_1987, I just don't know if I really need to get all of it. I'm trying to look around online for some help to lower the 4x4 Mustang right. I thought about coil overs but I don't really think I need them. Its just a daily driver to have some fun with but thanks for the suggestion!

Hi Shane, Not sure on the rear suspension. I really just want to lower it but not sure what is the right way to do it. Lowering springs, shocks, caster camber plates, etc? Its not going to be a road course car, just a daily driver but that would be fun. Can you PM a code for AM?

I would start with Springs, CC plates, Struts, and Shocks at the minimum. Then you can always add a good bit from there, depending on what suites you the best.

Also, I got your PM about the discount code, but you currently have you PM's disabled. So, I'm not able to reply, at the moment..

Go into your User CP settings and enable your PM's, then shoot me another message to let me know you fixed it!

For what your doing it sounds alright, I look at UPR for caster camber plates/bumpsteer.

Thanks for the help!!

H&R will sit low for a daily driven car and not sure the tokico will be able to keep with with the H&R for a long time. Get the bilsteins if you can afford them. I would reuse stock isos if you can save money and those isos add to the ride height not make lower. but other then that looks good!
