Default getting ready for some track time. what will I do @1/4mi

1996 Mustang. 04gt engine with tr3650.
Come May 3rd I will be ready for some seat time at the local quarter mile track, Famoso Raceway. Last time I went I had 327 gears, Ford racing shorties backed by a full catless exhaust putting it down with eibach springs and nitto 555Rs at 15psi. Also a 255 walbro (should have gotten a 190 but didn't know any better). I drove it as hard as I could without power shifting.
This is what my time slip looked like consistently:
R/T: .535
60': 2.108
330: 5.910
1/8: 9.066
MPH: 79.58
1000: 11.772
1/4: 14.041
MPH: 99.44
I know I could have gotten a lower 60' but I will admit that I'm still learning. That was my first time at the track and my best and final run of the day.

Now im going back with these new additions:
-Spec stage2 clutch with ford racing TOB
-Spec aluminum flywheel
-steeda tri-ax sts
-ford racing 410s
-QA1 rear lca
-17" 275 Hoosier drag radials
-ford racing 9mm wires with msd coil packs
-SCT SF3/ x3 bama tuner

With that said what do you guys think I'll make at the quarter mile? I'm assuming 13.4. I will be having the tires at 12psi giving em a good heat cycle. As for launching I'll start at 4000 and adjust from there. I will be power shifting also.

Any input questions or advice is welcome

I just went thru Kerns build thread and thought to myself that i posted mine waaayy to early lol dude is making some serious power. I was curious to see if i can get as close to low 13s as possible quick and cheap Actually I wanted to skip the 13s but i doubt it with my set up. Soon I'll be calling mmr to get set up for some major boost. But for now I'll focus on my driveline and suspension.

I'm taking my new setup to famoso as soon as I break my new engine in. Can I get a few details about the place? How busy does it get, is it every other Friday is open test and tune? Great looking ride btw

I'm going to say times get worse. more gear + more clutch = more tire spin...

Thanks. For the Friday night drags I usually get about 4-5 runs on average. They prep the track after all the classes get one pass which takes about 20 minutes. I say the prep is pretty decent, maybe not as good as Auto Club Speedway in Fontana or Irwindale but I like it. Ppl are pretty good there. Also I believe Shaun is his name, will be there from Hoosier and heat up your tires with his handy torch if you have hoosiers haha thats nice.overall nice track cool knowledgable ppl.


I hope i pedal it just right to get little wheel spin. Do you have experience with that?

Nope! I have never launched my new edge at the track. I have with my 86 fox body though. I made 8 passes in Sacramento and never got under 2.2 60', on drag radials.....so I'm not your guy. Are you in the central valley? I think I've seen your car around

Bakersfield. Lately I've been working in San Ardo, CA and before that elsewhere so i haven't been driving it. If you did see me though it was in Bakersfield Kern County.

On paper with a real good suspension and bolt ons and a good tire a pi can break high 12s, but im gonna guess mid to low 13s .
