Default SLP Loudmouth II or Flowmaster Super 44's?

I'm looking for a nice loud sound, but i'm not looking to get a whole catback system. I was just going to have the mufflers cut out and welded and keep the stock tail pipes and everything. I'm just not sure if I should go with flowmaster or slp. Some videos with flowmaster weld ins sound like stock and some slp videos sound awesome but some people say there ****.

It all depend on what kind of sound you like. I like the old school muscle car. So i use Flowmaster. There is not that much of a difference in the HP gained.

Flowmasters will have a nice, "hollow" muscle-car sound on these 2v's. With a stock H-pipe (or any H-pipe), it creates the signature, iconic "Mustang" sound that is lacking in 3v 4.6's and Coyote 5.0's. Hey, our cars aren't that fast, but they sound better, haha.

The LMII's will be raspier and more raw sounding, but not as deep or with as much echo/hollow sound to it, which is created by the Flowmaster chambers.

I have Flowmaster 40's on my car, welded into the stock system, and they sound great. I'm not sure my ears could take it any louder above 70mph!

Here's my cheesy car video. Skip to 2:44 to hear the exhaust on acceleration and drive-by. A stock 2v GT Automatic trans with 40's welded in.

Stainless Works makes one hell of a catback system for the 2011+. They have one for 96-04 also have not heard it. I run their system on my 13 and it sounds like a beast. It's pretty loud at idle and sounds great when its cruising.
