Don't have a new edge, but seem to be getting alot of the same looks and questions lately.
I'll be at a stop light, minding my own business when some guy next to me honks the horn. I look over and get this...

"How much horsepower that thing got?"

me: "Wait til the light turns green and i'll show you!"

yea i know man lol. It just all happened way to fast and plus one of my buddies was in the car next to me so i was talking to him.
Yesterday i was taking one of my bros home. We were riding and had been discussing my car. When he just looks to the right and says, "DAMN!" I thought he was looking at the mustang i was glancing at and i was said, "well, the wheels are a little big but other than that nice car."
Buddy:"Nah, i was talking about that girl's butt!"
me: "Oh."
I guess being a mustang guy i didn't notice her. But apparently she was pretty hot and i missed it because of my car obsession.
o well. Better luck next time.
its alright, plenty of women out there trust me. haha

I get the "WOW, what exhaust do you have on there? It sounds awesome!"
This is mostly from older guys(35+) which makes me extremely happy since at our age it is the sound quality not quantity that counts most.

Young Chic at drive thru window said "That may be the best sounding car I've ever heard. It has a sexy rumble."

With the cobra I get the "nice car" at the gas stations, and sometimes the thumbs up while driving. My wifes 05 legend lime gt gets way more attention since she installed the duck tail and chin spoiler.

You wait until the light turns green to show someone the dyno sheet? Strange.

I've gotten everything from what exhaust, what mid pipe, are those flowmasters, to is it a 6sp, is it a manual, is that a v6 (35th badges), what coloor is that, to is that a new Mustang? *that one was awhile back lol*

New one gets more stares and "nice car" or "i love your car" than anything. I think not having stripes makes the car even more 'run of the mill' to non car people than if it had stripes.

Lol...i normally don't bother to reach in my glovebox to pull out the dyno sheet or just give an ordinary answer...i just treat the stop light as if it were the drag strip and the people inquiring about the "horsepower" get a good show for a few 100 feet...

When I go thru drive-thrus is when I get a compliment about the car aloooot. Or when I'm at a read light and a guy walking on the sidewalk keeps moving his hand in a circular motion while saying "burn me up!!!!!". Haha . It gets pretty annoying at times tho. I dont wanna grant his wish only to get pulled over by a nearby cop!
