NEED HELP!!! Intake manifold/Throttle Body issue
I recently replaced the intake manifold on my 2002 Mustang GT 4.6L automatic.
Everything with installation went fine. I followed all the steps and instructions, it was my first time really getting my hands dirty under the hood. I put an after market cold air intake in about a year ago from american muscle but that's it. After I started the car for the first time a little white smoke came from the exhaust for a few seconds but I read that that is normal due to some excess coolant that may have made its way into the engine during installation. But now the lower tube on the throttle body is clamping up when it is running. If I open the tube up by pressing on the sides to allow it to breathe the engine dies. It runs when the tube clamps up but I don’t know why the throttle body is sucking so much air in that particular location. Does anyone know why this is happening and how I can fix it?
