Default SN95: GT Vert vs. Cobra

I was going home from MCAS Miramar, driving southbound on the 15. A nice cobra pulls up next to me and revs the engine. I didn't want to race it because I knew I was going to lose. Well 1-2 miles later he's still riding close and keeps revving, therefore I said, "what the heck...", I floored it taking off slowly, then he floors in and takes off leaving me behind. I think if I had NOS or supetrcharger I would have kept up with it.

Little did I know my buddy was trying to keep up in his lexus IS300 lol. I thought that car was fast.

You know, we have a specific section for stories like these, it's called the S/S section. Try it sometime, it'll do wonders for you...

a 265whp car (assuming cobra is stock) vs a 190whp car (assuming gt is stock)

who would of thought the outcome would be any different!?!?

My 96 GT vert ran a 15.8@87, my 97 Cobra ran a 14.3@99. No shock on the outcome.
