anyone else find my set up to psi strange? or power for psi for set up? although i will say when it made 350 and i had to short shift and torque was dropping of fast over 5k instead of flatter like the final tune, i still trapped a best of 115 so my guess is if i had gotten to the track i might have see 116-117 on less than 8 psi which isnt bad i guess.

I still do not get how you are only making 7.75 psi,

I am running a 3.33" with a anderson power pipe and I peaked at 11lbs.

What clamps are you using for your intercooler? And what couplers are you using?

i welded my tubing up so i only have 4 couplers, tb, ic,ic, sc. I have stainless t clamps and a treadstone IC 1-2 psi max loss at full flow. and its a 600 hp ic. by the way my tubes lined up very well and my welds arent inside the pipe either so its nice and smooth in there. although my power pipe may not be great who knows since i made it. 4 inch 90 degree tube and a 90 4-3 elbow to the sc.

You could honestly be having an issue with your gauge too...

I'd piece together an 8-rib setup as you may have belt slip issues if you do an upper only. TC got 14psi on an s-trim with just a 2.80 and stock crank. That was heads/cams too so on your setup it would prolly show higher. However while you will probably be throwing a set of pistons/rods in you should consider finding a used set of mild blower cams. Do that and max out your blower and you'll be in the 500+ whp range on pump gas IMO.

That's what I was thinking, I think I'd rather play it safe and have an 8 rib. But at this point I'm weighting the options and I may just build my full motor which would have tf heads, not sure i want to go to radical on cams though, cuz I'm not looking for all up top power. My goal would be 550 plus I know the sc is 750 but that's in a perfect world, that's be 600rwhp on 20% drive train loss
