Default What clutch to get

I am still green in the mustang area and am looking for some input.

I am getting ready to replace the clutch in my 2000 Mustang GT Conv. I am wondering what brand/stage clutch the majority is using. I am going to go witht the Maxium Motor Sports cable kit.

Also, do i replace the flywheel or just resurface it?

The engine is stock except for bbk tbi/intake. I do plan on addint a supercharger over the winter.

Any input would be appreciated.

I'm running the FRPP clutch. I didn't install it myself but my friend did. I had my flywheel resurfaced and had a new ford TO bearing and pilot bearing installed with it. He said it was a simple install but the only issue he had was getting the old pilot bearing out. I've put 6-8k miles on it so far and I love it as a street clutch.

I just order a Mcleod clutch, throw out bearing, pilot bearing, MM cable kit with quadrant and firewall adjuster. Since I will have the trans down I am going to pop it open make sure all is good.
