The only reason I have this car is because my wife bought it for me as a daily driver so I would not have to keep driving my then 06 Silverado SS. I am glad she did! The SS is gone and the GT is now my garage queen. I have owned a lot of vehicles and this one has been by far the best as far as fun factor is concerned. Practical? No! But none of my cars have been practical!

I bought mine and my wife's SN95 '03-'04 for looks, even knowing the '05 was coming. I realize they don't have the initial eye grabbing looks as the newer models, but that's what makes these years so cool. The smaller size, and the lower stance, and the more unique styling makes for a mean and cool appearance when touched up just right. Straight out of the box from the factory, the newer models have the upper hand. But other than that, the SN95's look cooler to me once you put a nice touch to them. The '04 Mach1 here is EXCLUDED from these changes.

I still think the 99-04s are the better looking model.

I considered a ws6. Those look so bad ***. During my search for a new car one didn't pop up that I liked. I test drove the Bullitt and fell in love instantly. Just wished it came with more power stock.

Reason:

1. Looks
2. Price
3. Kinda feels good being the underdog

I had a chance to get a new mustang in 2007 but I don't like the way the new ones look and I felt like I was sitting in a box. I got what I wanted a 2004 mach 1 black and I smile every time I get in it and drive it. Which is everyday. Everybody has there own likes and dislikes. And if it wasn't for my body styles and all the ones before it your body style wouldn't be here. Come down off your high horses. [pund intended]

Style. I grew up drooling over sn95s and foxs. The s197s are a little big for my tastes. Also I can't believe no one has said it, the sound! 2 and 4v Stang's sound the best. The 3vs and new 5.0s do have as good of a sound.
