500rwhp, how to? FI, engine swap, combination of both?
Had to sell my 11GT to get a more family friendly sedan. Now I'm trying to find a far less expensive car that'll be faster than my 11 which ran low 12's.
My hope is to find a running or non-running NE for $5k or less. I'd do a mild/built 4R70w and the appropriate suspension mods. If I could keep it under $12k wheeling and dealing, I'd be set.
So what I need to know is what people are doing to make power out of their NE's. I've read some about 4v swaps, but still don't know a lot. I doubt I could afford a built block from a engine building company.

Hey, guys. I just bought my dream car. A 2003 Mustang GT 5 spd. I bought it knowing I'm gonna eventually have to start from scratch with the engine to get it to my goal which is 400 to the wheel. Car has 144k miles though but just bought a new clutch. What should I do? Supercharge the engine as it is now, rebuild this current engine, or buy a new engine and work from there. Feedback would be great. Thanks
