99.9% of late model enthusiasts are gonna bash you for doing that to the car its just a reality, if you like it thats fine, people arent being negative their giving yo opinions. What does doing motor swaps, tranny swaps and owning a title for a car have to do with anything? The commet about the "fresh air intake" was to just inform you have must have not researched modular ford engines much, and can learn a great deal by doing so. Theres a beginners mod post as a sticky inthis section you can benefit from, myself alot with the majority of this forum have done more than simple motor swaps and tranny swaps in simple early generation pushrods so I'm failing to understand its relation to the topic of a front end body conversion.

Man that kit makes the front end look like a bad version of a late 70s corolla. If you must convert it use actual 05+ frontend parts and section in parts of the s197 fenders to make it flow better. Then it will be a one off not some afterthought jap kit.

Personally the new edge frontend is the best part.

Too much negativity about this front end change. I really liked getting some good ideas from this site. I have decided to not change this car. I am working towards getting a 2005-2008 Mustang GT, may use this car as a down payment. For those of you with positive input, thank you. May you all have a great day.

In my opinion, the S197 doesn't even come close to looking as good as a New Edge.

If they could do something about the headlight lines that are still visible and enclose those headlights into a housing like the actual s197's then i think it would look a little better..

Good luck with the installation.
