Default Coolant tank LOW..

So I can barely see any coolant in the tank, I do see it really low right at where the hose meets the tank tho.... I need to add some but was wondering if I should only add the motorcraft green engine coolant, or, can I just stop by autozone and add Prestone 50/50 green coolant?

Basically....Is it safe to mix diff brand coolants as long as they are both green colored?

Yeah just use the green stuff; 50/50, full strength, whatever. Brand doesn't matter, they will mix fine. For as minimally low as it is though, I would just go spend $2 on a gallon of distilled water instead and pour that in, call it good. Keep an eye on the fluid level for a bit and make sure it isn't being consumed or leaking.

The man is correct on the DISTILLED water. Some people use water from their hose at home. BIG no no. Minerals are in that water, which mess up the radiator and cooling system.
