Default feels like a slip or something

Trying to get to the bottom of this problem. When cruising after a while between 55-60 it will downshift if I let off barely trying to steady the speed. As soon as I barely touch the gas it shifts back up. Automatic, if you can't already tell. Thanks for any feedback!

Oh and it will do this over and over until I adjust speed or use cruise control to steady out

Could be your convertor going out.

this.. the TCC command would be a nice PID to datalog if you have a good scanner handy. Im willing to bet its locking/unlocking too much... Could be bad converter or a control side issue (valvebody)

does the car have a tuner?

It almost sounds like a dead spot in the throttle position sensor to me.

Don't have a tuner. Wish I did. Will probably get one eventually. So torque converter is going bad? Is there such thing as a overdrive sensor? Or maybe another term for it? One guy that I met briefly said something about that, but I have no idea.

Yes a tps sensor is a 30$ish dollar part and an easy two bolt change
