Default Coming Along..

Well gents been back for about two weeks now and today was the 1st day that I decided to go and check on the car. Would like to thank all of you who've helped me over the past couple years especially my boy Kerns, gt04, uberstang, dwtjr and purpleiced gt. The guy fixing the car was nice enough to store it at his shop until I got back. He started to put the car together last week so, I decided to stop bye and check it out. Should get it back in the next two weeks but I told him that I'm in nooooooooo hurry just want it fixed right. This guys the best in the area and kind of pricey but hey you get what you pay for right.

Mods
: Vortech V-1 T Trim (3.33 pulley), CX racing intercooler, tial bov, Anderson powerpipe, teksid short block .20 over, HP 292 cams, Mod Max Racing H-beam connecting rods, Diamond Racing 11 CC pistons, eddy vic jr intake, 6061 plenum, 75 mm accufab TB, MMR high flow fuel rails, 55lb injectors, Flowtech LT's w/modified o/r h-pipe.

If all goes right I'll be installing a 03 cobra fuel tank running dual pumps in about a month.

Well here are a couple pics:

Got rid of the summis and upgraded to some Nitto NT555R Extreme Performance DR's (305/35/18). Not the best but it'll be alot better than the summis!

Nice man. I bet you can't wait to get it back on the road? What made you stick with the V-1?

Hey thanks guys. It's been a loooooong and very expensive road. HP once I get her running right I'll most def about that. I'm thinking about ditching the chrome rims for some black ones. Scoot I really like the V1 and plus it's the T Trim so that makes it that much better. Some people don't like the loud whine but I myself love it!

My man I would love to see something in the mid 4's. So what do you guys think she'll hit? Im hoping for 450 to the wheels. My current fuel setup may hold me back. I have the Walbro 255 lph pump but I do have a 40 amp KB Bap. If alll goes well ill take her to get dynoed this month and will buy and install a cobra fuel (running dual pumps) tank in Jan.

Dumb. Don't get it tuned until you can make sure you aren't running out of fuel. Get the pumps/tank before getting it tuned.

Should have been a little more specific. I'm getting ready to close on a house this month so I guess I shoud have said I hope to get a cobra tank next month. The Cobra tank will most def be the next mod though.

Gotcha, I figured with some of the other supporting mods you could maybe close in on 600s..

Is 400s going to be a pretty conservative tune?
