Bypass module - Broken pats
So long story short the copper ring around my ignition cylinder to read the pats system broke and i am now trying to figure out how to disable or bypass the pats system. will a remote start bypass module work for regulary starting the car if i do not use the remote start portion?

No, you need to (a) get PATS disabled in the tune, or (b) replace the damaged antenna--option (b) is probably the easiest of the two, any PATS "C" antenna from a junkyard will work. Plan (a) will require removing the PCM and sending it to someone that can disable the PATS, or find someone to come to your house and do the same.
Curious, how did it get "broke"?

Ok so still have the broken antenna but i sent my PCM to sniper tuning to have the PATS disabled. i recieved my computer back and the car still starts and runs for about 10 seconds and then shuts back off agian. Any ideas? did my Pats not get disabled?
