Default Question about arp hardware. Maybe technical engine stuff.

Quick question for now, I'm sure this will turn into a big conversation as it goes on though. Currently I kinda want a poll, if I said I had all arp hardware in my high performance motor, ie rod bolts heads mains and what not. How many people here think hey arp 2000 good stuff?

Personally, I like them. Anything arp I have I was very satisfied with and would use again. Heres a link to a tech part of their site:

I like them, that's why I'm using them I guess I didn't lay the question out very well. I should have said maybe how many people know there are more than one type of high performance arp bolt? I always used to be under the impression arp 2000 was the standard high performance bolt. Come to find out it's not, there's also 8740 which come on factory cobra rods for example. I only bring it up because I'm finding some stuff out that I personally feel is a bit shady. So I was just trying to get an idea of how many people actually know this stuff, cuz maybe it was just my lack of knowledge

I won't go into it to far not trying to start stuff. But let's just say I bought some parts and the way the parts were layed out Online I was under the impression that I had arp 2000 stuff and I found out I only had 8740. Not a blatant lie or anything like that, but imo a bit shady. As well as the excuses that followed because of it.

I specifically use ARP2000 hardware. I was well aware that ARP8740 was the standard ARP bolt and its what is in the 03/04 Cobras for their rod bolts. Its also an issue as you get up in mileage as they have been known to stretch (hence why i used the ARP2000's). Additionally, I used the ARP2000 head studs to avoid having the head lift under high boost even though ARP8740 head studs would most likely have been sufficient.

I got my parts from completely random places. I did a lot of shopping around so it really just depended on what website or person had the best deals. Yes I'm running a Teksid block.
