Just bought a dark shadow gray 03 gt and need some new shoes for it, what do you guys think about chrome or black rims on the dsg paint scheme?

My (MY) opinion, I am not a fan of chrome, and blacked out wheels on a New Edge isn't my style. Black with chrome rings, maybe. But I prefer a stock-ish look. I threw 01 Cobra wheels on my 01 black GT, I like that look the best.

Anything but bullets. Chrome looks stunning on Dark Shadow Grey. I've got a DSG with chrome 03 Cobra rims and its pure sex.

I think deep dish w/ polished lip looks really good too especially staggered.

I have a DSG and bought the all black gt500 rims from american muscle. I think they look sick.

Congrats on the new purchase, as an owner of a Dark Shadow Gray 02 GT, I'm confident you will love it.

I personally like the black and DSG combination, and think it looks really sleek and stealthy. On my 02 I had a set of black bullitts with a chrome lip and thought they looked sick. Particularly if you have a black convertible top, or have or plan on getting any black stripes or decals they go together flawlessly.

Don't get me wrong, plenty of people can pull off the chrome wheels on these cars as well, and they also look great. However, I personally think the black finish has a slight edge in my opinion.
