Just for the record the aeromotive stealth 340 pump maxed out in my car at 510ish rwhp. So dual 340s should work

What where you running when you did that? Set up, boost level, traps and et?

So obviously i'm lost in return style translation when it comes to my math. My apologies on making the ruckus there.

Does anybody have a full understanding mathematically why return setups can support so much more power with these kinds of pumps? Cuz a 340LP/H pump on a returnless will need a BAP to even come close to handling this power level.

I know for a fact that returnless setups need ~415-450LP/H to support ~400WHP.

Either way i'm glad your fuel is good so we can see what this setup will do. Get this bad boy on a roller! Pics and vids if possible.

I can only imagine it's because the system has a huge flaw...everything electrical in the car needs to be working 100% or you will never get 100%. For me I had a ford gt supercar pump and I couldn't make over 330 without running out of fuel focus pumps can do that. But it was because my fpdm was only out putting 10.5v then I brought it back made 350 ran out of fuel, turned out my altenator was taking a dump, then there was a possibility the fprs was bad....after that I just gave up didn't waste any more time on return less, bought return.

255lph svt focus pump usually maxes out at 400rwhp. Not sure where you're getting the need for 410lph.

He's partly right, there are a lot of people on here...infact most people who have svt pumps have a boosta pump to make the power

I was running 436/454 through a single svt pump without a boost a pump. That setup is long gone now though

Yea what I think happens to most people is the cars are old and some of the parts are up to the task, and a lot of tuners are quick to say you need more pump or you need a boost a pump. My tuner doesn't like boost a pumps, he will tune with one if you already have it but he says the same thing I do, they are band aids, something in the system isn't working right or you pump isn't big enough if you need one. And after all the crap I traced down in my car I am in 100% agreement. Sounds like your system was working perfectly.

Screw it. Between the extreme difficulty of finding true specs and bull**** on the internet the math is fuzzy as hell.

Heres what I know at this point. The stock GT pumps are ****ing garbage. You can add that on the list along with the brakes.....and the rear suspension.
