#ChevyLife

Step 1: Buy LS1/LS6 F-BODY
Step 2: Add lid/intake/throttle body/OR-Y/tune
Step 3: Talk mad **** to 98 GT scrubs
Step 4: Add Cams/headwork/LTs + Cutouts/Gut that mother****er
Step 5: Go to the dragstrip and not run your car because of your ****ty *** transmission and rear end.
Step 6: Walk around the parking/stage lanes talking mad **** like "Just Bolt-Ons YO!"

Buy a 5K SRT-4! Ad a big turbo and destroy all. Just make sure every race is from a roll.

Could also buy a old school Grand National and put the smack down on everybody lol! Seriously OP, to get a 2V to be on the same level as a LS1 you're gonna spend a bunch of mucho dinero. I prefer the look of the musang also but if I were going for max Hp the LS1 would be the way to go.

When I did this last build, I briefly looked into a ls1 swap because I was planning on spending 7-10k. What I found out, you'd be looking at 7-10k just to put a stock rebuilt ls1 in the car. Now I will say it's that expensive because I would buy the k member and crap because I'm to lazy to fab it so there is some money to be saved. But for me I spent 13k this last time(yea got a little spendy). But only 10 was the engine. 10k into a camero would probably destroy what I plan on having but 10 into a swap. Your comparing a factory rebuilt ls1 with headers to a fordged internal heads cams stroker 4.6. I'm shooting for reliable 600rwhp. And at that price range I wouldn't have had that from the ls1. Just my opinion. I think the cross over for a worth while ls1 swap is about 15 k or goals north of 800rwhp. Assuming you've already put tons of money like I did into my car before this last upgrade. If it's a none stock gt and you have a ls1 lying around...a swap is a no brainer
