New member - new issue - not new to Stangs !
Hi, after owning a 68 big block for years, we now have a more tame '98 GT ragtop, 76k, 4.6 auto, bone stock, but "cuts out" at cruising speed.
New BBK cai with stock MAF (cleaned)
New Trick Flow 75mm plenum, stock TB
New Battery, plugs, wires, coil packs
Alternator is good and checked elect. connectors
Seems to be electrical issue, cuts out power very briefly then resumes at cruising speed (70 -90 mph) I don't notice it at idle, low speeds, with A/C on, or even accelerating. Runs good, just annoying - if she had a carburetor, I'd be able to fix it, lol ! Thanks for any ideas of what to check next.
