Default question on brakes, need help ASAP!!

hello all,

i just returned from a deployment and i went to drive my mustang today for the first time. things were going well until about a half hour into my drive. i was going to stop and was caught by surprise when i pushed in my brake pedal and had nothing. the brake pedal had no pressure at all. when i got home smoke my coming from under my hood. i took a look and on the brake master cylinder (where you put the brake fluid in) fluid was over flowing out of the tank with the cap on leaking down causing the smoke. does anyone know what could be causing me to have no brakes? i just installed a built engine just before i deployed. any help will be greatly appreciated. thank you.

Sounds like the time spent sitting was not kind to your master cylinder. Probly need a new one.
