Royal Purple is a good brand, Amsoil is good, I use Castrol right now because I found a great price on their full synthetic. I used royal purple in my last car and had no issues either.
Most everyone has an opinion on oil, so use what people say to start forming your own opinion, and look at bob is the oil guy's website too, there is a lot of information there as well.
