Default Stock Horsepower 99-04 GT, Cobra, Saleen

Just curious what the stock horsepower/ torque ratings are for a GT, Cobra, and Saleen?

Also if someone knows bone stock what these cars do in the 1/4 mile?

Thanks,

Stock for GT and base model Saleen was 260. Not sure on the supercharged Saleens, wanna say maybe 350-ish. Cobra, from '99-'01 was 320 and '03/'04 was 390 (although chassis dyno's have shown several put down about 380 at the tires, suggesting Ford under-rated the output and was likely more like about 420hp).

1/4 mile, a bone stock GT with a manual transmission having a reeeeaallly good day with an excellent driver and excellent track conditions might see a 13.7 or .8. IIRC, Motor Trend had the car at 13.9 or 14.0; most drivers will see about 14.2. The '99/'01 Cobra's are capable of low 13's, and the '03/'04 will do mid to high 12's.

I thought the V6's were rated at 190?

When you figure out whatever that google thing is, let me know. Sounds like something I might want to do to my wife later tonight.

When you look back at the mid 70's/80/90's .. 260hp is a lot for these smaller cars and even the early 289ci was around that and it's even smaller at 281ci so I think they make good output for there size.. it's just pricey to get more out of them.
