I switched my 04 gt to a blow thru maf when I installed my vortec sc and relocated the iac to be between the TB and MAF. The only way the car will idle somewhat right and not have the rpms hang is to unplug the iac valve. With the iac hooked up it idles high and rpms will hang. When I hook up my old intake and stock MAF the car runs and idles like normal with iac valve plugged in.

I had the car tuned by someone who no longer is in business and I don't think he knew what he was doing hence why he's no longer in business and the car still didn't idle right with the iac plugged in after he tuned it and he couldn't figure out why. What do I need to do to get this to stop? With the iac unplugged it throws a code and I want it to go away. Thanks for the help

Try adjusting your throttle body blade first and cleaning your iac

Did that and replaced the iac. Both are good seeing it runs right with old intake and draw-thru MAF

Yes the iac is pulling from after the MAF

Hopefully someone has another idea, cause the only other thing I can think of is its in the tune
