Default Ok, so I grabbed another 4.6 (2002 GT Vert)

If you remember 2 years ago I bought a 2000 GT vert and restored it after the previous owner severely altered the hell out of it.

And after many S197 ownerships I finally sold my 2014 GT for a 2014 Tremor F150, but in true fashion I missed my Mustang... not the 14, but the 2000 (Which if you remember was wrecked right after the restoration was completed)

So Anyway, I grabbed a 2002 GT vert with a 100k on the clock and a new engine, and while it doesn't need the massive amount of restoration the 2000 did I am going to put some nice touches on the car.

I bought it yesterday and will be picking it up on Saturday once I get back to Philadelphia.

So here is the picture from the dealers website. Paid $6000 for it.

Well, last night I brought it home so it was dark and I couldn't see any smaller issues, but I know the area around the windshield needs to be painted, so it'll be a trip to the body shop for paint.

In addition to the rims, I also ordered flowmaster catback system, Ford Racing Lowering springs, CAI, 75mm throttlebody, and In my shed ihave a set of smoked taillights and headlights from the previous unit I never used (Still new n the box)

Right now I am into it with car cost, wheels, tires, springs etc etc about $9000. The one saving grace is the wheels where on sale the two rear 18x10's were only $80.00 a pop on AM, they are clearing them out.

However, what the final plans are remain to be seen. This one doesn't need the work the 2000 did so hopefully it will just be giving it some loving and keep it as a weekend cruiser.

but I will make her/him Purdy.

Haven't settled on a name yet, all i keep getting in my head is Silver Bullet III

That thing boogies... 240hp, and when it kicks in it kicks in.

My Tremor has the 3.5 Twin Turbo Ecoboost with 4.10s right from the factory, this thing is a beast but the fuel cut off is set to 98mph from the factory and it wants to keep going. So to fix that issue I disabled the fuel cut off/speed limiter.

Here is the tremor

Just to Update, my lowering springs, new shocks and struts are installed. Rims go on in a week, after car returns from body shop for the minor paint work it needs.

Wow, I missed a lot - the last time I saw you post, you had the 2014 GT and the 2011 sixxer vert...

Does it have the limiter at that speed because of the tires speed rating or the driveshaft by any chance?

Not from what I researched on the tremor. from what I gather the tremor was built with a little for sport truck in mind so they some strong components than a standard F-150 ecoboost or FX4 Ecoboost.

Its not like I am ripping over a 100mph every day, but I thought 98mph limiter was very weak, considering you can tune these trucks and folks are seeing 50HP gains from just tuining.
