Default New to the pony!

Hey guys I'm new to the mustang and had a few questions. I have been searching for a few weeks for a good mustang to own and learn on, I did find a 96 mustang gt for $3500 has about 161k on it. Well my question is it does need to have the Valve guide seals replaced and the second gear is going out. Thoughts or opinions im still searching and learning.

Thanks,

Patrick

I wouldn't give $3500 if it needs that much work.

$2750 tops

and welcome... owning and modding will become an addiction so have deep pockets

Alright thanks for the information. Honestly just looking for a nice cruiser to enjoy. Not really looking for power mainly wanting to learn more about cars. I'm fine with just headers, cam, intake, and a nice exhaust.

I wouldn't give that for it either. Sounds like you're going to need a transmission rebuild for sure. I don't know how hard the guide seals are to replace, but im guessing its not easy.

If the car looks decent and drives well, I might offer them $2500 for it.
