Default lowering

I had my 04 Mustang GT lowered using Eibach pro kit springs. It lowered it about one inch. It looks like I still have about two inches in between the tires and fender. What do people do to lower their cars to have about an inch or less in between the top of the tires and fenders? Thanks in advance, Ed.

Most people who go that low are usually running coilovers for that more stanced look.

Would I need to buy the whole set or can I buy what I need since I already have the springs? Thanks, Ed.

Yes the whole set would be purchased if you want to be really low in the front and rear. Due to the fact that coilovers come with springs on them.

You could just go with the sport kit from Eibach. Its cheaper than coil overs and lowers about 2 inches. Anything lower and you will might start to regret it.

Are you talking about the "PRO-SYSTEM Performance Springs and Shocks"?

No, they are talking about the Eibach Sportline springs. They give a 2" drop. You'll need a few additional items to make it work though; at a minimum C/C plates and bumpsteer kit. When I did mine I also installed offset steering rack bushings, poly spring iso's and MM lower control arms out back (good opportunity to do so since it will all be apart). I'll see if I have any decent pics and post one up.
