So I just bought a 97GT, it's 100% stock but I wanna learn some tricks about these 4.6s that veteran mustang owners would know. What are some typical problems these cars have? This is my first mustang and I am very familiar with mustangs and know my way around an engine but I'm no ASE mechanic. I don't wanna be oblivious to something small that could cost me down the road. Just some basic things to keep an eye out for. Thanks in advance for the info!!

The coolant crossover is plastic on these cars and tends to break and leak coolant everywhere so keep an eye out for that. But with proper maintenance, your car should last a long time, if it wasn't abused by its previous owner. Good luck with it and get moddin.
