Default BBK Throttle Body

I have an 04 GT and replaced my stock TB to the BBK. I installed it and did it while watching it on youtube, CJP and LMR. Now for some odd reason, my throttle cable seems at least about 1/2" too long and have some play to it. I was so worried about those cables in the back that I took pictures and still is not right. Any suggestions other than not doing any upgrades by myself? Thanks in advance, Ed.

It should attach without issues, something got messed up with your install.

if you have the engine off about a half inch of throttle play is normal

There is a nifty little mod over on the tech side about how to take up the slack in the throttle cable.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/v6-1...tment-fix.html

I did it on mine and it did indeed make a noticeable difference.

I'm fixing to do it again. I actually forgot about this mod until you made this thread then when I went out and looked I noticed just how far depressed the gas pedal is compared to the brake.

I did it when I had the sohc but since I've done the InTech swap I had forgotten about it.
