Know idea

My 97 4.6 has a miss occaisonaly. If push it its all but constant. Can find nothing wrong. Just put in new plugs gapped at 54 thousands. 2 days later ck eng light came on ?

Get the code (dtc) read and post back is about the best help I or anyone can give you at this time. Once we know the dtc then we can help you pinpoint things.
