They're not rubbing now but it's sitting up too high. I've decided to do a spindle swap to tuck them in a bit. Going to try 94-95 spindles. Do you know how much I can lower it before I have to get into rolling the fenders? I'd like to avoid that. Sounds risky!

I just looked into these wheels. They have a 17mm offset instead of the usual round about 30mm. This is going to push them out an 1/2 further.

Yeah I don't know why they did that offset. I can't figure out why they stick out more on my car than any other either!

Any 9 inch wheel with a 17mm offset is going to push the wheels out, its not just your car.

Yeah the thing is, the wheels were made to fit my car and there are a ton of pictures of 99-04 Stangs with these wheels and they fit perfect!

Have the wheels machined, to decrease the backspace. That is your only option.

Did you ever fix the wheel spacing issue? I just bought a set of Rovos 18x9 Durbans for the front of my 2004 mustang and I am running into the same issue. The wheel sticks out about 1/2".

I understand going from 30mm offset to a 17 mm offset will push the wheel out half inch, but how does that explain the rest of the SN-95 mustang owners with the same wheel that show it being flush with the fender?
