Default Need a fix for front wheel offset problem!

Anyone know a way to bring the front wheels on a 2000 Mustang GT in about 1/2" on each side? The offset on my new wheels are causing them to stick out a bit!

That's a tough one. I hate to say it, but you might want to consider doing some body work, like installing fender flares. Narrowing the suspension is a major undertaking.

there is no way to "space" them in, you have the wrong wheels if you intend to not mod the sheet metal

I have heard that lowering the car will bring the wheels in somewhat. Is this true? And do you know if there is any amount that the car could safely be lowered without rolling the fenders? The wheels are 18"

You're probably messing too much with geometry by that approach, and making a bigger issue by using wheels that just have the wrong offset.
You don't want it squatting like a modded Civic with offset wide wheels,do you?

lowering (slamming) the car might stick the top of the tires back into the fenders, at least until you fix the camber

sounds like you bought the wrong size wheels fam

Ok so, the wheels I bought are the Rovos Durban 18", staggered setup. If any of you don't know it these wheels are 'Made for my car'! I was happy as sh*t when they came in, I ordered the tires and had them installed, $3,000 later this is what I ended up with! Could anyone please answer quick if there's anything I can do about this at all because if not, they're going right back!!

Nope! They are a staggered set. I'm stupid but not that stupid! I'm looking into adjustable A-arms and coilovers at the moment. Don't know who I could get to install everything though.
