Missfire or trans
OK I have a 2000 mustan gt stock aftermarket filter is the only change.190k miles on it with only one code pop up it say its the trans sensor or batter connection.battery good no missfire only thing is when I cruise around 50 and 70 mph it has a slight missfire to me and I can also hear from exhaust a backfire tape of sound can someone pleas help I changed sparkplugs,fuel filter, aac, cleaned throttle body and still no change in skip and no other code pop up.

If the COPs have 190k on them I recommend you inspect them all for cracks on the tops of them. My 2000 has 241k on it and I just recently replaced all of mine because they were the original ones and every one had a crack across the top of it. That lets them draw moisture into the windings and they will have a slight miss fire to them.

Also check the rubber boots on the COP's. Any cracking or deterioration or signs of current arcing through (often looks like a brown-ish dust substance if it's been going on for a little while) then you can just replace whatever boots as necessary. They go for about $10 each at your local parts store.
