I just got the 3" exhaust tipped magnaflow axle back exhaust kit. Got it installed today, sounds awesome! Will be working on getting some sound clips soon. #15882 part number from magnaflow's website.

PS: Bump... sticky request!

Bumpity bump bump! Bumpity bump bump!

This is a great thread. But I still can't decide. :-(

I had the Bassani axle-back Race muffs but the drone at 60MPH is very intense. Too much for me. Makes me feel like my head is going to implode. This is with the windows rolled up BTW. Rolled down they're fine.

I'm actually sending them back to Bassani b/c the right one has something broken inside that's causing it to rattle. Once I get the new set back, I'm selling them (ebay I guess).

I want something that sounds mean and loudish but I don't want the drone that these Bassani Races have. The Corsas sound good but I'm worried about one person's comment about adding long-tubes make them raspy. I also like the boom tubes but I worry if they will be as loud on the inside as these Bassanis. I want to hear the exhaust inside the car, but not in the same way the Bassanis do.

I didn't read through all the posts but one correction to the original post, the FRPP GTAs are made by Supreme Performance and not Borla. Their part number is M5230, I think. Someone might have already mentioned this. They are what I have on my car.
