Default RE: Best Whipple HO Belt

My belt recently broke after 10000 miles. The regionla sales manager from Gates could find the 124.7 belt in his system. I had to get it from Whipple, and it is a Gates belt. I ordered two, it is staying in the trunk just in case.

6 rib only, and if you order it from gates, it's best to use the part number, because they don't list it as a 124.7" belt. They have it listed as 125-1/4" OC. (outer circumference)

You should try Napa. I've not tried them, but if I needed something ordered, i wouldn't go to autozone.

Yeah there is no Napa around me I will have to take a drive. Might be a good place to take the newly whippled stang this weekend .

I might just have to bite the bullet and pay the $90 but that just seems rediculous to me for a belt.

Thanks,

Don't bite the bullet! I'm counting on you to do all the leg work.

Oh I see how it is

I called a couple places yesterday and still no luck. I would have never thought it was so hard to get a belt.

Does anyone live in a state that has O'reilly Parts?

If so can you check there, as I read somewhere they carry them.

Thanks,
