I didn't read the entire thread so forgive me. But a 8psi I would think you should be pushing 460+ rwhp, but that is just based on my car. I am making 438rwhp at 6.5psi on my Saleen SC.

When people talk about "smoken the tires in second and third" what exactly are you talking about? Going from a complete stop or from a 20 mph roll? I don't smoke any tires from 25 - 30 mph, I can smash the pedal to the floor and varoom it's off. Anything under 25 mphand no traction what-so-ever. I can burn through every gear from a stop.My saleen at 8psi was only 430 rwhp. (automatic)
My Saleen with a 3.6" pulley puts down ~435 wheels. With the STOCK wheels/rubber, I could rip them off the car from a 30 roll in second.. With the meat on there now (285/30/20), it's a little more challenging, but if I really try, I can still get them loose.
As for the power, yeah, with 8 PSI you should be making much better numbers, even if it is an automatic (I don't recall seeing which tranny in this thread anywhere).
+1 on the math being all wrong.
Assuming 15% loss for a 5-speed, my car does ~510 SAE crank (.97 CF). If that were my car, before I did ANYTHING else, I'd take it to a different dyno shop. If you just want a pull (no tune), you should be able to get it done for $100-150. And stick to a DJ, MustangDyno = baaaaaad (inaccurate). Oh, and ask for a COMPLETE graph from the DJ place, one that has the computerized calculations on it, lists the Correction Factor, etc etc.. That 1.29 could have been a Correction Factor (although it would be like the highest one I've seen.. You'd have to dyno in Denver at 110* F and 95% RH. LOL)

As always, YMMV.
good call!! I totally forgot about stock tires, those things were just horrible, I was thinking of my KDW2's on 18", yeah stock tires would shread from anything no matter what. So many mods you lose track of them all. I'm still running 3.31 gears tho.
" Also, you would think that in 2nd gear I could hit the throttle and spin the tires without using the clutch and smoke em...?
Well, I cant!"
Ever read the article about the Saleen 302 Extreme? 2nd gear, even with 520rwhp the tires were hooking up. I just got my 298 stroker built, and after a long, hot highway drive, the hot tires barely broke loose in 1st, and hooked instantly in 2nd. Once you get them spinning, you can smoke em off.....
I'm running 275/35/20's Pilot Sport PS2's
I don't think your power is off , seeing that your A/F is good, and I know that Kenne Bell runs 20-22* timing. Its just that particular dyno.

Cat - I agree with what you're saying about the S302E and about your car, however.. The S302 and you both have much bigger/wider rubber on there.. He's still running the stock wheels/rubber. It was WAY easy to destroy that stuff. I know you had wheels before your blower, so.............. ??
We are hard pressed to get the RWHP/RWTQ numbers the east coast guys get, so I have given up, happy with my HP/TQ and ET, and so far no S197 out here has beat me in 1/4 mile N/A, so I happy with that, in fact I usually beat stock 6.0 GTOs,
East coast rules! West coast drools!
