Cams came in on Thursday and I installed them yesterday. The video has before and after shots. I have driven my car twice and everyone keeps stopping me and asking, What you got in that thing? I definitely need to get a hold of Doug @ Bama and get that tune he put together, I emailed him but if anyone has any info on that specific tune please chime in. http://s283.photobucket.com/albums/k...HotRodCams.flv
Thanks.

That's the plan. The only thing that sucks is I have a dentist apointment in the morning. Hopefully all the numbing sh1t wears off quick so I don't look like a retard drooling on myself.
That sounds wild Dude! Sweet!. What did it take to put them in? Any issues to be aware of? How much is involved?
In the Ford manual it says to only remove only three specific cam followers on each side to do this the cam has to be in the proper position. The only problem is in the manual it references
a timing mark on the crank damper and that it should be in the 1 o'clock position, only problem is mine did not have the reference mark, so if you do the install you need to make sure the
# 1 and # 5 cylinders are coming up on the exhaust stroke. The reason for this is I believe the cams are at a point of the least tension. I only took three of the cam followers off the left side and had no problem with removal and install, but on the right side I thought I had it on the exhaust stroke but when I started taking the cam bearing caps off they began to bind so I tighten them back and removed all of the followers. It took longer but was worth the extra time.

How much did it set you back? Feel any difference? Thanks.
How much did it set you back?
Tools- $238
Parts- $80(besides the $800 cams)
Time- 5 1/2 hours
Feel any difference?
Other than the car shaking..yes lost some bottom end, but if you are thinking of doing these cams just plan on a tune. I need to get it on the dyno or get a tune from Bama to make
a far assessment. Right now it just seems to be running rich.
