Default Fastest S197 TS in the country! 9.50 141.95

I ripped this from another site. This was posted by psfracer who is a member here as well. He shot a great video as well. This is Adam from ST motorsports, he currently has a stock bore and stroke 281 with the KB 2.8H.Here are the timeslips. I am working on a video now.....

Couldn't turn up the car all the way because the car started spinning about 30 feet out - but as it sits 142 mph should be good for high 9.3X's.

As a side note, Adam tried switching from the M/T ET Street Radial to the bias ply ET Street-and the Street Radial worked much better. Take that for what its worth.

A 6.05 @ 114 in the 1/8th is pretty damn good I think.

Looks like there is a new #1 on the list.....http://videos.streetfire.net/video/ST-Motorsports-Kenne-Bell_173873.htm

If you look in the new issue of MM&FF, looks like there is a faster S197. I think it was 8.89 by Justin at JPC. I dont have the issue in front of me, but I think that makes Adam the 2nd fastest.

Yeah, it was 8.89 at 150mph in the 1/4. It also did 5.64 at 122 in the 1/8th mile. Heres a video:

Thats an awesome run, 9.5 sec.
Just some better traction for Adam and he will be in 8´s in no time, being 281 c/i.

He builds his motorsfrom scratchand will generally use the same general combo. He has another Mustang with a 3.4 whipple on it with diamond pistons, billet rods (mine are scat forged), kellog crank and after market heads/cams. He basically built me the same short block with different rods. He is a good guy and builds some very strong motors that also last.

I think he his trying to see what he can get out of the 3 valve in a stock displacement.

The mag is in my car, but I beleive it is an aluminator block with avortech and N2O. (I could be wrong on the SC, but will check it out next time I pick up the article).

A vortech and spray can be a nsaty combination. I know a guy running a built 2 valve vert that hits high 9's with a vortech and some spray.
