Comp Cams 3V Thumpr NSR

Comp Cams 3V Thumpr cams. NSR but need phaser limiters.

These sound pretty close to the FRPP Hot Rods. I don't know the power gains from these. I also wonder how hard is it to install the phaser limiters. At least they're NSR.

If these end up making significantly more HP than Hot Rods, I may have to reconsider.

I found this link on Sutton HP's site and these will be available on 08/15/08.

They do sound nice! Very similar to the FRPP hotrods. Do you have a part number for those comp cams? Would like to check them out. I can't see why they would need phaser limiters though.

I suspect these will be the most powerful NSR cams to date b/c of this.

I very much look forward to seeing specs and dyno runs with these as well as finding out how the install of this limiter is.

From what I have read from mustang gurus is: Stick with stock cams unless you plan on going F/I otherwise you will probally loose power, especially in the lower ranges. Getting cams for sound is retarded.

You will have to fill in the **** with "m o dd ed mustangs" (without the spaces) to get the link to work. I'm sure you allknow the site. Apparently,"mustangforums.com" feels mentioning another competing site is going to destroy them. This site has its ownmuch bigger issues like using antiquated forum software for one.

I agree. And it's not like most others here do not have accounts at other places. It's not like you have to pay to be a member, it's all free so I don't understand the censoring at all.

In regards to the cams, I'm really hoping this doesn't mean that not using phaser limiters on FRPP Hot Rods is a bad idea since they have the same lope.

Me too Dude... Me too. Thats another 200 bucks I could do without spending if not needed. I may have to go with the FRPP cams in this case.
