ha ha yeah the vett will be lookin at your GT emblem as you pass him... may be a different story if its a Z06... but a normal vett will get eaten alive and spit out in the trash... just have sticky tires

thats up to you but the install of cams will require specialty tools hammeron has details in his write up. also take a close look at it and ask if you are capable of the install.
that being said i would still do cams... cams are sexy

I am sure I can do the install,...I guess I am just being lazy. Anyone running these Hot Rod Cams with a Saleen Stage 3 from Brenspeed? I am planning on gettin the s/c from Brenspeed soon but dont want to waste money on cams if they dont work well together

Hey Hammeron ! Just wanted to say thanks for the cam install intructions. Installed my FRPP cams last Saturday morning and couldn't be any more pleased with the install. Your pictures and directions were spot on and were much more user friendly than the Ford service manual I had access to. Also, big thanks to Mustang Forums, in particular the participants of this thread, for providing motivational encouragement to get me off my a$$ and trying this install myself with a good friend. Knowledge is power, thanks again..........

I have to say very good write up and great participation in this thread. I am looking at getting these cams in the near future and have been considering doing them myself. After reading the information I have seen here, I was sure I could do it myself.

However after calling around to some of the Diablo participating dyno tuners in my area (70 miles so I use that term loosely,) I found a shop willing to put them in for just under 450. Considering the cost of the tools, I figured it was cheaper to just have them install it sense I was having them do the tune there too.

But just wanted to say thank you for putting this up, and gratz to anyone that was successful in doing it them self. But for me, unless someone is near CT and can let me borrow the specialty tools, looks like the offer I got to have them installed is too good to miss... Now I just cant wait to get my W2s and file!!!
