Default Steeda Heavy Duty Belt Tensioner - 05-09

Anybody using this? I have some belt squeek now and want to upgrade to this... give me feedback

Skip it. Spend the extra money and go with the Thump_rrr tensioner. It's not just a hack-job of ford's inferior tensioner. It's a custom built billet tensioner that is bulletproof.

I do not see it as a hack job...it is not the prettiest thing on the planet. here is where my issue is at is you can barely see the factory tensioner(saleen blower, alt reversed) on my so why not just paint it with some rattle can and put it in. as for the engineering design i do believe it will do what it needs to do. it has a weld all the way around. that in essence makes it stronger. I am actually considering this for over a $200 savings. isnt the Thrumper one almost $400. Is an extra 250ish worth the look when both are probably just as strong?

the thump-rrr tensioner is $350
its made with niddle and thrust bearings and it is the best in the market
the other tensioner is made with plastic bushings and washers

Well after a moments thought on your comment... If the thump_rrrr is $350 and the steeda is ~$120 what is the underlying benefiet of the thumprr? Have you broken a steeda?
