btw, I agree w/ i was hoping the exhuast would be a lil louder (cam time?) but either way, WOT is pretty nice w/ this set up.

Yea, with the o/r H-pipe it doesn't sound good...like I said it sounds like a Camaro

I have MAC Long Tube Headers and a MAC O/R X Pipe. I want LOUD but dont want the snap crackle pop of straight piping the whole thing. So I was thinking the MM system would get rid of the popping and such but retain the loudness. Amirite? Am I wrong? Sounds like its a quiet system from what you are all saying.

From my experience with the PMM and o/r mid pipe it was raspy and crackled a lot! I can't imagine what it would sound like with your LT's.... I'm betting that it wouldn't sound like you want... thats just my opinion. Have you thought about the FRPP/Borla Stingers? Thats what I have and they are really deep sounding. I've seen a few youtube videos of LT's and Stingers that sounded great. (but don't trust youtube videos, not the same as real life)

I think the only way to run offroad pipes with the pypes mid muffler is with the prochamber-check out this vid if you have not seen it yet...

Pypes MM is hands down better then the borla stingers IMO, much more agressive.

I think they sound best with o/r x, they just dont scream with pro chamber and h pipe up high.

Mine dont pop and crackle at all, its nothign but smooth mean tone. I had slp lm with o/r x before so I knwo what popping and cracking is and this is my 4th set up and Im done, lol

I looked at the FRPP/Stingers but they seemed too quiet for me. I was lookin and there are a couple vids on YouTube of O/R X with PMM and it sounds pretty close to what I want. I like some popping I just dont like the harshness of O/R Anything with Muffler Deletes. Its just too raspy for me. I like the controlled chaos of the PMM with O/R X, at least on YouTube. Im guessing with my LT's its going to be quite a bit different though. Ill prob just try it and go from there. Ill be sure to get some good vids though since there arent any online anywhere that I can find.

BTW Tombstang where did you get your Hood? That is one of the sexiest hoods ive seen in a long time! Its kinda like a Ram Air/Heat Extractor thing going on. Both functional?

you can actually check my youtube link for HD vids of the MM set up my car with the m-80 mufflers and slp LM as tips and then oneeyedwilly with the MM system. It gives a almost dead on sound of the set up.

ya both are functional on the hood aswell, ram air and heat extractor, not sure how much the ram air really works but the heat extractor is great cause our cars get dam hot and Im in FLA. Its the true fiber gts-2

you live in boise by chance?
