I guess it really depends on how much enjoyment you get from your car. Like these others have mentioned, if you really like the car.....hang onto it and keep up with the maintenance. Just because it is getting a little older with a few extra-miles doesn't mean it is time to let it go...or withhold *much needed* mods....

In your opinions - how many miles on your car before you stop putting alot of $$$ into mods...or do you keep modding and rebuild engines / trannys and such as needed?
Dude. I bought my 2006 'stang with 96,000 miles on it. It currently has 107,000 miles. List of mods are:
Bamachips 89 Torque tune
Ford Racing "K" lowering springs
20" wheels
K&N CAI
Mod the sh*t out of it and don't worry about the miles!
