Default Engine Ticking Noise!

I wanted to post this in this forum as well, with the hopes that this may also help someone else.
Engine ticking noise found!!!!

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Well, today I decided to completely go over the possibilities that may be the cause for my engine ticking noise. I could not take the noise anymore. .
ANYWAY, I decided to check my plugs today myself. I started off with the cylinder that I had pointed out to the dealer when I took it in. Well, first off, when I pulled the coil off you could see nothing but black. And when I put the socket on the plug to pull the plug out, I could turn the plug without even using a ratchet. So I pulled the plug and cleaned everything very well and reinstalled the plug to specs. OH YEAH! The noise is now gone.
The dealer obviously didn't even look at my car. I can say this for fact because I talked to the mechanic who claimed to work on my car and he told me he checked every plug and retightened everything to specs. WRONG! That was definitely a Lie!
I am glad my car is now no longer making the "ticking noise, but I am a little pissed that they feel they can lie to your face and it doesn't even bother them at all.
I only took it in because it was under warranty, and thought it would be best to at least get it documented in the event of a problem in the future.
UNBELIEVABLE........................warranty - what warranty?
Anyway, who ever it was that suggested that I take a look at my spark plugs, I want to thank you for your advice and experience............. GOOD JOB!

Thanks,
Keith

I'd call the Ford customer service line and tell them what you told us.
Dealers like that need to be weeded out of the network or Ford will go the route of GM and Chrysler.

Default Thank You

Thank you all for your help and information. I did contact customer service with Ford and told them the whole story. And, I am going in on Monday to talk with the dealership manager concerning this poor quality of work and treatment. I know the store manager, and he does not support this very bad service.
The most important thing though, is that my car is no longer making the clicking noise, and there is nothing like driving your dream car when it is running it's best.

Thank you all again,
Keith

I don't need sarcasm I'm just asking a question that I obviously don't know the answer to.

My apologies. I didn't mean anything by that. I was wondering if someone would then say yes you can hear that because...

Take care.
