Default Roush Supercharger

Has anybody done a home garage installation of a Roush Supercharger on the S197 GT? I'm curious to know how difficult the job was and potential watch-outs. I'm considering purchasing one and haven't made the commitment yet.

When I was deciding which supercharger to go with I read the install instructions first. I read Roush, Kenne Bell, Saleen, Whipple, and Vortech. They are all availble online just do a google search. IMO the Roush was second only to Kenne Bell in fab and relocating required.

The instructions are on Roush's website. Read through them a few times. It's doable.

I just had the M90 installed on my 07 GT. I started to tackle it myself but decided to let a dealer do the install. The mechanic doing the install told me later that everything is straight foward with it, bolting up to current holes and all except the cutting off of the alternator mounting blocks... which is not a big deal. So, from reviewing the instructions and my discussion with him, it will be a little time consuming but should install pretty uncomplicated.

It is very straight forward with minimal modifications. Each step has illustrations as well as detailed parts breakdown. If you have any questions during install you could call or pm me.

Thanks,

Evan
