Default BBK or JBA ceramic coated headers ?'s

I have a question for anyone who has installed ceramic coated shorties. Did they lower your underhood temps?

Anyone have JBA cat4ward headers? If so did they go right on or did you have issues.

I'm pretty sure ceramic shorties are going on my car. I'd like to do the JBA's but had a bad experience with their quality on some mufflers in the past and I feel like I would be rolling the dice buying their product.

BBK would be the next choice. Have only heard good things about them.

All experiences appreciated.

i went with the JBA ceramics because i didnt want the headers to change colors from the heat. i know they keep the temps down under the hood but i have not measured it lol havign the cermanic coating will imporve the life of the headers too. IMO get the JBA's they flow great and sound mean. get a catted X pipe too you'll notice a nice power increase and ALOT better fuel mileage! well you have a s/c so i dont know how much better lol

You should see a reduction in temps, especially being you're running the supercharger now.

I have the JBA silver ceramic cat4ward headers as well. Latemodelrestoration.com is where I got mine from. They were not an easy install, but the fitment was perfect. I can't believe some other header companies expect you to bend and cut stuff in order for it to fit.

I went with chrome BBK's. I don't care if they change color, and I can't believe that a ceramic coating will reduce the underhood temp enough to make a difference. I'm very pleased with my headers. They completely change the exhaust note. Sounds like a real muscle car now.

I got the JBAs and happy with them, they are tight to get in but fit fine, get a power increase and better sound can't complain.
