Default Stage 8 header bolts. Anyone use them?

I'm getting my header order together and am debating the use of stage 8 locking header bolts.

They are kinda pricey so I'm looking for others experiences before buying.

Thanks

I got my headers installed today, and they used stage 8 locking bolts.

I just got them to avoid leaking down the road.
I'd rather spend the money on bolts now, than pay someone to get under the car and fix a leak.

Look at this way, if your car develops a header leak, then you'll wish you had bought Stage 8 bolts! One header leak on a previous car was enough for me, so I went with the bolts. As with anything the best parts always cost extra!

I ordered the stage 8's over the weekend. I think I'll still be able to use some of the factory studs too. That should help with locating the gaskets and headers. The headers will probably go on Friday.

Thanks for the replies
