Greetings, I've got a 2008 Bullitt with the HO Ford Racing/Whipple supercharger kit. The kits no longer come with the aluminum-aircraft type intercooler coolant tanks still shown on their website:
Whipple says they had some issues with the manufacturer, so they now include a plastic OEM Coolant Tank from the 03-04 SVT Cobra. Canton makes an aluminum replacement for it, but not the aircraft type with the great orange cap like the one that used to come with the Whipple. Moroso and LFP make the aircraft-type tanks to replace the OEM 03-04 Cobra tank, but they are oversized and are made to mount sideways. That works fine in the 03-04 Cobra, but where it is mounted in my 2008 does not allow for it to be mounted sideways. I do not want to relocate the battery to the trunk.
Anyone know where I can get the original tank that used to come with the Whipple kits?? Used or new...
