Default Longer shift lever without a short throw?

First post, thanks to all that respond. Basically I'd like to lengthen my shift lever from stock and have only seen longer shift levers as a part of a short throw package. Anyone know of a longer shaft for the stock set-up? I don't really need the short throw setup, just a longer shifter arm. Thanks again....

The Steeda Tri-Ax shifter is exactly waht you are looking for. I got that shifter with their Billet Pro Street Shifter Handle and I love it. Taller shifter with a nice throw.

Not sure how you can accomplish this without a different shifter. MGW allows for all kinds of adjustment and is the best shifter on the market.

Thanks to those that have replied. However, I'm just looking for the shifter shaft and not a complete short-throw system as you have suggested. I have looked at the Roush, Hurst, MGW & Streeda, but don't want or need to change the throw, just the shifter lever length....

the mgw shifter ball by itself on the stock shifter made it taller and it's alot better

If you make the height longer, it's going to make the throw longer. If you want to increase the height while keeping the throw the same, you'll need to shorten the throw.

I highly recommend the MGW shifter, which has adjustable throw and height.

correct
if you lengthen the shifter arm the throw WILL increase so the only solution is to get a short throw shifter and then put a ahifter arm on that you like.
i drew a picture for you to help explain.
the fulcrum point is fixed but the length of the lower part of the shifter assembly must be shorter to accomidate a longer shifter arm. your need to make up for the longer shifter arm by decreasing the length of the bottom of the fulcrum point.
I have a pro 5.0 shifter and am thinking of buyin a curved handle to bolt onto the shifter it would be longer but closer and cooler anyways just thinkin
but either get a mgw as it is the easiest to adjust or a pro 5.0 or hurst and bolt on whatever handle you want or make your own
